Website translator privacy notice · 22 October 2026

Your uploads and text

This notice covers the browser translator, not the proposed native iPhone app. The sample-screen demo does not upload your own material. The browser translator works only after the site owner enables its Cloudflare Workers AI binding.

What is sent

When you choose Translate, the text you entered or extracted is sent to a Cloudflare Pages Function and Cloudflare Workers AI for translation. When you choose Read file for a photo or screenshot, your browser resizes it and sends the image to a Pages Function and Workers AI for text recognition. PDFs are opened in your browser with PDF.js: selectable text is extracted on your device, and image-only pages are rendered to pictures and sent to Workers AI for recognition. The original PDF file is not uploaded by this tool. The extracted text remains visible for you to correct before choosing Translate.

Retention and other parties

Our application does not create an account, store submitted files or text in an application database, put submitted content in URLs, or run a custom analytics tracker on this tool. Your input and translation remain in this browser tab until you leave, reload or replace them. Cloudflare hosts the site, processes AI requests and may handle data and request metadata under its own service terms, security practices and retention policies. Do not submit passwords, financial records, medical records or other sensitive documents. If you copy the result, your device clipboard will contain it. Browser/OS and network providers may also process data as part of normal operation.

Limits and changes

OCR and translation may be inaccurate; check important details. The service can be unavailable, including when a free daily AI allowance is exhausted. The owner has not supplied a public support contact yet; this notice will need updating before an official product launch.
